Furious, with all your might
That’s how you fight this virus.
Invisible — in the air
Attacker undesirous.

She’s in town to bury them,
All that’s left in clay pot urns.
Her mother and her sister
Both gone, never to return.

She meets with pals from ago,
Vintage friendships are the best,
Like back in old college days
Honest friends, there are no tests.

Conversation is comfort
Joyful laughter fills the air
Shared stories from nascent times
Disburden the viral scare.

Connections, yes connections —
Remain though they’re far apart.
Run rich, hinder distances, and
Heal their worn and weeping hearts.

Keep your old connections tight.
Furious, with all your might.
